Simulation-based approach to development of diffraction-limited shape measurement of micro-structures using speckle interferometry【Abstract】
A new technique to observe microstructures beyond the diffraction limit by detecting the spatial phasedistribution of scattered light from the surface of microstructures using speckle interferometry has been
reported based on experimental results.
In this study, the measurement principle of this technique is computer simulated using COMSOL Multiphysics.
First, the conditions for applying COMSOL to calculations beyond the diffraction limit are verified,
and a two-dimensional model of the optical system is constructed on the COMSOL platform.
We also demonstrate the validity of the new observation technique in the theoretical analysis using simulations.
